In Store Video and Stills
How would you like an active, exciting video display of products in your store?
This is one of the services that we offer.
We can combine our stills and video from your shoot into a funky, dynamic slideshow you can run in store on a DVD player, PC or laptop.
This short sample was put together as a test run for Feva, this shows the combination of video and stills together.
The sample below shows just stills:
How do I display the video?
I would recommend a large screen TV and DVD player. These days a big screen is not that expensive. We’ve just bought a 42 inch screen – which is flipping big – for £500. Smaller displays, for example a 32 inch screen, which is still a very good size can be had for less than £250.
You could use a video projector, but this work best in darker areas, probably something your store does not have.
Or, if you want something smaller and more convenient, newer photo frame type products will also display video, you could have several 10 inch displays around the shop for example.
Could I put it on the web?
Absolutely! They make great additions to your own website – giving a very cost effective boost to your image with instant appeal.
Also of course you could have them permanently available on YouTube and be able to pass links around via FaceBook, Blogs and emails – so you could send an email to your clients with your latest video.
Could I use video at Exhibitions and Fayres?
Absolutely, that is exactly what we do, we used projectors, laptops and TV displays at exhibitions – they make very worthwhile additions to your display stand and a very easy to setup.
As well as adding excitement to the stand, they also let you show off a wider range of your products that you may be able to physically take to an exhibition.
How much does it cost?
Good question, I’m afraid the answer is a bit of “how long is a piece of string”. But the simplest option is to shoot video snippets at the same time as the photo shoot. This keeps the filming time down. Post production is more time intensive than stills, a rough rule of thumb would be 2 days for every day of shooting. All told though the cost of adding video would be substantially less than a £1,000.
The more advanced version would use multiple video cameras and a more extensive editing process. You would be in the £2,000+ mark then.

Could these be projected?
Yes absolutely.
You would need a video projector that can handle the general lighting in the room, so it would need to be more powerful than your typical business projector for a darkened meeting room, but there are plenty of those around.
Some projectors require a very big area when the projector is some distance from the screen or wall – so you may want to check a projector works in your space before you commit to a purchase.
